I have to think that Defensive Guru Coach Dungy will have addressed the Def problems in the last game against Denver. That is what the NFL is all about, making adjustments and new gameplans. The successful coaches can do this. Home favs playing with revenge giving only 3 , come on you have to lay it. Also Denver on the road 3 straight week. Somethings gotta give. They are not this years team of destiny. Philly is. Aloha CC.

Tony Dungy's playoff record is abysmal. Peyton Manning has not yet been able to shake the "can't win the big game label".

Dungy's failure to address the running game weakness on D was apparent last week as Dominack Davis and the Texans ran very well on the Colts D. Texans are far from the Broncos ultra quick O-Line. Plus, Portis is healthy for this one, and jitterbug Q. Griffin and Mike Anderson give the Broncos a tough 3 headed RB monster. Also, Plummer has been solid, if unspectacular, but he is 9-3 as the starter.

Dungy has done a great job with the Colts, but I think he's still a little short on talent on the D.

Shanahan has won on the road before in the playoffs and I think he can do it here as well.

This should be a good game, but the Broncos +3 is the side to play IMO.

JAke Plummer vs Peyton Manning

Ill take Plummer everyday and twice on Sunday, one is a great athlete the other is mooching off the media and his dad. Jake is clutch,Peyton is an interception machine and a slowfooted goofball.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

I absolutely love Denver here except a few things bode me to take another look at Indy..

(1) Obvious revenge from the previous Denver waxing.
(2) Revenge from being polaxed 41-0 to the Jets last year for a "pre-mature" WC exit IMO.

Why I love Denver? Cause they're the sleeper of the AFC. They're the hottest team riding a momentum wave into the playoffs looking absolutely astounding the past 5 weeks. ...Forget about week 17. They lost on purpose anyway you chop it up.

When i cap games I usually ignore the pointspread and just think about who should logically win the game. In IMO Denver is the hotter and the flat out better team. (e.g. dominant ground game, manageable QB, & a stout defense.

However contrary to my Denver tangibles, Indy has played too well all season long to drop out this early. I mean c'mon, I can't see the NFL Co-MVP losing in a wildcard round a few days after being given the award.

Perhaps Indy wins by 1 or 2 points?! Is that the answer I'm looking for????

Thoughts please....

Both teams are primed. Too close of call for me.
Was leaning towards Colts.

In the Mike Shanahan era, the Broncos are 27 wins and 10 losses in second match-ups (in 9 seasons)... And a perfect 3-0 in second match-ups that happen in the post season.

After first meeting wins, the Broncos are 16 and 5 in the second game, completely dominating the rematch. After first meeting losses, the Broncos are 11 and 5 in the second game.

Since John Elway retired, the Broncos still haven't lost a beat in this area of second match-ups... Since 2000, the Broncos are 10 and 4 in seasonal rematches.

And in the Jake Plummer era, the Broncos currently sit at a perfect 3-0 record on the rematch. What's more, the Broncos have won by an average of 20.8 points in Plummer rematches.
